what nots!

Hello ladies, Tracie here with you again.

Have you seen the cute packs of ephemera that have been sneaking into all the ranges for a while now?
There are always so many pieces in them that can add so much interest to your layouts!

Just like Louise, I was really drawn to the Finnley range by Glitz, and, just like Lou, I hadn't realised it was a baby range either!! and guess what? I didn't use it for it's original purpose either! Which just goes to show  how versatile it really is!

One of my gorgeous granddaughters is going through the 'selfie' phase, since we bought her a camera for Christmas. I really loved this particular shot of her and couldn't wait to scrap it!

I threw quite a bit of the whatnots pack at the page, and cut up one of the sheets to use as my title, and there are still lots of lovely bits left for other projects!!

I must apologise for the poor quality photo, I really should learn how to properly use my camera when the weather isn't being very helpful!

There is a rather cute feather in the pack, which I decided to use as a template for my next layout. By drawing 'round it and cutting it out using the Finnley drip paper I made leaf shapes to represent the trees in the photo (I know they're feathers but I'm hoping nobody else will - I won't tell if you won't!)

This is a photo from my son's wedding last August (yes he really did have that t-shirt on under his shirt!!)

So, I hope I've encouraged you to take a look at those wonderful little die-cut goody bags and put them to good use! As always we would love to see what you create, so feel free to leave a link to your work in the comments box so we can all be nosey!

Bye for now!
