Using templates.

Hi all, Tracy G here today.
This month I want to share with you a couple of ways I have used The Crafter's Workshop 6x6 Chunky Chevron template.

I like to get the most out of any crafting 'tools' I purchase, so look for as many different uses for them as I can. So instead of just using the template for misting or inking through, I decided to trace and cut through it and use both the positive and negative cuts.

For my first layout I drew through the template on the reverse of the paper I wanted to use and cut out the pieces from two strips of the pattern, then placed the chevron pattern across the center of my page.

For my next page I used the whole template, and secured it with a piece of tape onto a 6"x 12" piece of cardstock. I then cut the pieces out carefully with a craft knife, and backed it with patterned paper.

I hope I have inspired you the look at other ways to use your templates.

Supplies I used,
The Crafter's Workshop 6x6 Template, Chunky Chevron.
Papers from the Lily Bee Pinwheel collection.
Lily Bee Pinwheel Chipboard stickers.
Lily Bee Pinwheel Chit Chat stickers.
American Crafts Glitter Tape 3/8" Cherry.
American Crafts Glitter Tape 5/8" Aqua.

Don't forget you still have a few more days to enter this months challenge, details can be found here.
