Romance picture frame

Here's a picture frame created by Lianne using the gorgeous new American Crafts Romance papers.

These are so easy to make, just take 2 sheets of chipboard and cut to your preferred size, cut an aperture from one of the pieces and decorate anyway you like! Stick the other piece of chipboard to the back of the frame when you've finished decorating. It's easy to add a support so it can be free-standing using a piece of chipboard- just cut a long tapered shape and score about an inch from the narrower end, then use a strong adhesive to stick the end to the back of the frame, this can then the bent along the score to provide a support for the frame.

For this frame, chipboard sheets were cut to size and the edges were painted with a Pink Sherbert Paint Dabber. A piece of American Crafts Romance First Love was cut to size and the edges were distressed using scissors and sandpaper and adhered to the frame. Some Fancy Pants Chipboard Flourishes were painted with Pink Sherbert and Espresso Paint Dabbers and the edges were sanded before using Glossy Accents to stick them to the frame. The frame was finished by cutting 2 hearts from the spare chipboard, one was covered in American Crafts Romance Unconditional Love and distressed with sandpaper and the other was treated with Crackle Glaze before being tied with parcel string and being adhered to the frame with foam pads.
