American Crafts & Paper Trunk

Sarah gave me the challenge of decorating an American Crafts Modern Album, mine has been sat on the shelf for a while now and this was the push I needed to get it done!

I chose the gorgeous Paper Trunk Socialite range because I love the vibrant colours. I cut the papers into 2" squares and inked the edges with black ink and then 'patchworked' the front and back of the album. I added a cardstock strip and some scalloped borders made with the Fiskars Threading Water punch and a swirl handcut from the Socialite patterned paper. It was then given a coat of Dead Flat Varnish to add some protection and then the 'Our Family' was added with AC Shoebox chipboard Thickers. We'd love to see how you decorate your modern albums!

Thanks for looking,
