This month I used a selection of products including Heidi Swapp papers & alpha, American Crafts papers, bling from Imaginesce, cork stars from Studio Calico, Pink Paislee chipboard, and heart stickers from Pebbles. You may have noticed a few changes going on over at the website this week (wink wink) which means I can't link you up to these products right now. There are exciting things coming soon so do keep an eye on the shop and blog in the coming days and weeks.<br />

<br />
Some of my favourite moments from these weeks: my daughter finding all the play swords in the house and loving them; my son dressing up as the gruffalo; a set of silly morning selfies with my kids; pants over trousers superhero poses; a cute snap of my mum with my children. We took lots of photos of one day out at a big park so I included several by using two 6x4 collages (put together on my phone via collage app). Having had a relatively quiet week I chose to include them on my main spread rather than add in an insert.<br />
Another set of memories documented for the future. My son already loves to look through these albums. That makes me insanely happy!<br />

I hope you are all well and enjoying this lovely sunshine!<br />
<br />
I've been thinking recently about the way I choose my stash and what 'draws me in' enough to want to add something to my growing mountain of scrapbooking supplies.<br />
<br />
I found that many of the brands I used to love had waned a little for me, and I craved something new and vibrant. So it was a lovely surprise for me when I checked out the new Basic Grey ranges!<br />
I'd gone from being a Basic Grey addict to barely giving them a second glance these last few years, but I feel they've really livened things up, especially with the <a href="http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/brands/basic-grey/highline.html">Highline collection</a><br />
<br />
On top of being a really colourful, fun range it gives really good value for money! I was amazed how much is in the collection pack, the alpha sheet in particular has letters and numbers in 6 different colours!<br />
<br />
I also bought the <a href="http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/brands/basic-grey/highline/basic-grey-highline-vellum-tape-stickers.html">vellum tape stickers</a>, which are LUSH and the <a href="http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/brands/basic-grey/highline/basic-grey-highline-die-cuts-and-transparencies.html">transparency pack</a> which is bursting with goodies!<br />
<br />
I couldn't wait to get started!<br />
<br />
I loved these photos of my grandson, Declan this Easter! and the speech bubbles on the sticker sheet were perfect for my title! I cut the 'flower' and star shapes from one of the patterned papers and layered them up with 3D foam pads.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiRkE0NYyN3ct45LX-919shcApsAWQRPWoke-CLlviy3d0ySLmgnNYkv3TVhLCP0MPkNGqn9hcLS8Xt0sAeUe4FVX8oFMkmC8Q_xmNr7sJxuFxb06LGo3O8dPgWsqJEoaiR8g6_xxyeaYob/s1600/012.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiRkE0NYyN3ct45LX-919shcApsAWQRPWoke-CLlviy3d0ySLmgnNYkv3TVhLCP0MPkNGqn9hcLS8Xt0sAeUe4FVX8oFMkmC8Q_xmNr7sJxuFxb06LGo3O8dPgWsqJEoaiR8g6_xxyeaYob/s1600/012.JPG" height="320" width="318" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
I came across this photo of my wonderful stepson, daughter-in-law and grandson, that I had somehow neglected to scrap and had to rectify it immediately - not all baby layouts need to be pastel shades!!<br />
The 'Sweet' was cut from one of the papers<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhSLQHbE0yCOCBWA3fu9LcLM8OYc3ZaDnFzSkToWQ7LYXohd2admog5JJPK68e5lyYfYW_j1xpQ2BYkNEAyTSL6u9D078gGYC1nJvV2jjF480uCeW1wup8mOWjl3n2oCSgMangQ87-cOkXw/s1600/009.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhSLQHbE0yCOCBWA3fu9LcLM8OYc3ZaDnFzSkToWQ7LYXohd2admog5JJPK68e5lyYfYW_j1xpQ2BYkNEAyTSL6u9D078gGYC1nJvV2jjF480uCeW1wup8mOWjl3n2oCSgMangQ87-cOkXw/s1600/009.JPG" height="320" width="316" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
And yet another grandson layout - this time Declan's brother Elliott showing off his new bike! Certainly a memory that needed to be scrapped!!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjDNPT6crqp9tOG3G-bmGVWwZSCQNZ4qJpS-60st-KZvuKPmFHFeyNVqzD3ZiUhT2xJgM5Zng_oY04JOgqB1WbvIxawM0cvyZUP85dsLpjRozr1cqkONG4NAZ31ZX2g61qrYlJ7rkscHAXL/s1600/006.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjDNPT6crqp9tOG3G-bmGVWwZSCQNZ4qJpS-60st-KZvuKPmFHFeyNVqzD3ZiUhT2xJgM5Zng_oY04JOgqB1WbvIxawM0cvyZUP85dsLpjRozr1cqkONG4NAZ31ZX2g61qrYlJ7rkscHAXL/s1600/006.JPG" height="318" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
The bracket shape reminded me of the handlebars, which in turn, prompted me to make a bike embellishment!<br />
<br />
I do like a good bargain and this collection was definitely that!! I still have lots of goodies left over for more layouts so if anyone needs me I shall be busy in my craft room!<br />

I love it. It's true. I am always drawn to papers with red in them. Sometimes I see papers online that look red and they turn out to be pinky-red or orangey-red if you know what I mean! Pink Paislee "<a href="http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/brands/pink-paislee/pen-pals.html?limit=24" target="_blank">Pen Pals</a>" and Simple Stories "<a href="http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/brands/simple-stories/hey-pop.html" target="_blank">Hey Pop</a>" didn't disappoint. Red is not the main colour in the ranges but there is just enough in there to keep me happy. </div>

For the background of this page and the next I used a sheet of <a href="http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/brands/bella-blvd/freestyle-sophisticates.html" target="_blank">Bella Blvd Freestyle Sophisticates</a> paper. I usually order a few different colours of these papers every month too as they coordinate so well with many, many ranges. I love using them as the base for a layout. They are in the sale right now for 44p per sheet. Just make sure you leave some more for me :)<br />

How are you doing ? I am good and all the better for talking with you.<br />
<br />
This month I spotted some sweet <a href="http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=puffy">puffy stickers</a> by Me And My Big Ideas (MAMBI). I like that affordability factor too so I grabbed a couple of packets. Because I still have money in my pocket, I also bought a couple of sticker sheets. And I couldn't resist some <a href="http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=resin">resin embellishments</a>. Why don't you have a look at what I worked with.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjADvlWSJB_oit-j2Iy8Fg03D0Z0bwFQlooZm3jrVZkuk0NzwH3QqRmrKjNYxIH_ETFV4CrRSWHXXMboO1X-SQUHz1i6Xf1YXODmS3nbHJF-x9Y_f2h9gejm1CC946jEMYueSvnBYyOYuA/s1600/embellishments.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjADvlWSJB_oit-j2Iy8Fg03D0Z0bwFQlooZm3jrVZkuk0NzwH3QqRmrKjNYxIH_ETFV4CrRSWHXXMboO1X-SQUHz1i6Xf1YXODmS3nbHJF-x9Y_f2h9gejm1CC946jEMYueSvnBYyOYuA/s1600/embellishments.jpg" height="319" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I also ordered a <a href="http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/heidi-swapp-stencils-12x12-heart-cluster-stencil.html">Heidi Swapp stencil</a> and set about figuring out how I can use it. Sadly my misting didn't work out this month so I used the stencil as inspiration rather than literally used it.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiGqaR_G4UYRcmRBzB_PlTIG-BKyYxyrk1bJbAjccj5Caktw5UHibjg-OChhYVKeHMo-MFSf4z9Ausy5Ndqw9EXiTsbjpAF1wfhTBeLkFEoPbHm0M1KJvx9w_Y-BUo5bMNC8vkr7558OMc/s1600/stencil.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiGqaR_G4UYRcmRBzB_PlTIG-BKyYxyrk1bJbAjccj5Caktw5UHibjg-OChhYVKeHMo-MFSf4z9Ausy5Ndqw9EXiTsbjpAF1wfhTBeLkFEoPbHm0M1KJvx9w_Y-BUo5bMNC8vkr7558OMc/s1600/stencil.jpg" height="320" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I decided to replicate the circle and heart out of patterned paper. Rather than painfully trace out the stencil and cutting out, I cut out a lot of circles on the Big Shot. I then traced some hearts from the stencil onto the paper circle and then roughly cut out the hearts with a scissors.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I arranged the circles across my layout before layering with those pretty embellishments and stickers. ps: I saved the cut out hearts for the next layout!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjs_5aDLYVUZ_e2XDnfgOph-E2MqNebZApB9cR8Em_b2V_IchgJQUAJjAANJEpAi6L4oPcsxv1_o3G843jGHzFOavqG3DHePpRcFpQ9s623GD6m7YGtppSMLuA9chXxACq-aWF1x8tpLCc/s1600/circles+and+hearts.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjs_5aDLYVUZ_e2XDnfgOph-E2MqNebZApB9cR8Em_b2V_IchgJQUAJjAANJEpAi6L4oPcsxv1_o3G843jGHzFOavqG3DHePpRcFpQ9s623GD6m7YGtppSMLuA9chXxACq-aWF1x8tpLCc/s1600/circles+and+hearts.jpg" height="212" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I couldn't resist drawing and cutting out a couple of crabs for a layout about our trip to the Crab Festival in Sheringham.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjwChma2Cy4J5GDNNMxpfNmZxx4Af0pIw4r5qIfD8ayhbG29IKJgiI-67UpIXCdEk5_8CtfUN8Y968Qs77L1M1jB1H3aHbm5Ee5Uyn8KPhjPDBn1BoFp4Z9ElfZtZsKtLie0-OZnwG8-g8/s1600/crab+fest+closeup2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjwChma2Cy4J5GDNNMxpfNmZxx4Af0pIw4r5qIfD8ayhbG29IKJgiI-67UpIXCdEk5_8CtfUN8Y968Qs77L1M1jB1H3aHbm5Ee5Uyn8KPhjPDBn1BoFp4Z9ElfZtZsKtLie0-OZnwG8-g8/s1600/crab+fest+closeup2.jpg" height="225" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Would you like to see the whole layout ?</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Following a near identical recipe, I made the following layout using the cut out hearts from the first layout.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLLXJWTMzJBry4LlXsdhDVtXBXYwp2tG2gfECAQLk29wp8iGqAnZeIvycEkEr-BDzrzaMcg9i73VRhe8l4awXmdz_sl-LSoJ-dHYOijYCCD_vXYQlKpSXb8XPyzvNESporKN-M7PWNEKY/s1600/15+years+closeup1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLLXJWTMzJBry4LlXsdhDVtXBXYwp2tG2gfECAQLk29wp8iGqAnZeIvycEkEr-BDzrzaMcg9i73VRhe8l4awXmdz_sl-LSoJ-dHYOijYCCD_vXYQlKpSXb8XPyzvNESporKN-M7PWNEKY/s1600/15+years+closeup1.jpg" height="213" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The layout in its entirety is about my son J who finally left school this summer. He still has one or two A levels papers to do but officially he left school at the end of May...excuse the proud mummy moment.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

I'm about 5 weeks "behind" in scrapping mine. I don't like feeling behind, so I do try to keep the attitude of something is better than nothing, and if a few weeks do get missed it will not be the end of the world. So if you are not "up to date" don't worry, don't feel discouraged, just jump back in!<br />
<br />
I'm going to share with you the next few completed weeks from my album today.<br />
So starting with Week 11, back in March and using supplies from<br />
<a href="http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/brands/my-mind-s-eye/now-then.html">My Minds Eye Now & Then collection</a> <br />
<a href="http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/brands/teresa-collins-designs/daily-stories.html">Theresa Collins Daily Stories</a><br />
<a href="http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/brands/me-my-big-ideas.html">Me and My Big Ideas white sticker book </a><br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgzicM1u2CR48qw0Aqn5uycg_Z9CKACwUL8hTzW-QzRudArZiAm71yFGQC3uvv5ad6ozFMZKg_vuDxHm1ktvP8KtRsotGONiiH0isE5w4kZ4adHCqZruM5GcRR9mKq0HKs2IOBxGp84jds/s1600/Week+11.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgzicM1u2CR48qw0Aqn5uycg_Z9CKACwUL8hTzW-QzRudArZiAm71yFGQC3uvv5ad6ozFMZKg_vuDxHm1ktvP8KtRsotGONiiH0isE5w4kZ4adHCqZruM5GcRR9mKq0HKs2IOBxGp84jds/s1600/Week+11.jpg" height="160" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I took so many photos I loved this week, but one of my favourite 'photos' is top right here - the collage of selfies from my son. He had my phone and was just snapping away at himself so I took a screenshot of the camera roll to get this image. It makes me laugh! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjp0pLjANU_eUplY98O2yUFYz6v09kkBMv1jNL_Avu0-znyZcmJbHbgD_JJOeuAn-ue87ogwd-Eqm7V-ZRLuXmWSkxUVLh0LKlioSu1RKtIgr-wxl9CcEXPW5PMDwQ7d9IEN_khEwqvuWA/s1600/Week+11+L.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjp0pLjANU_eUplY98O2yUFYz6v09kkBMv1jNL_Avu0-znyZcmJbHbgD_JJOeuAn-ue87ogwd-Eqm7V-ZRLuXmWSkxUVLh0LKlioSu1RKtIgr-wxl9CcEXPW5PMDwQ7d9IEN_khEwqvuWA/s1600/Week+11+L.JPG" height="320" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiaJjS7LwHp5aW3Qnw70UIxQnEgM2jkdA2C9XPUmBsUtXf8JVwRxWN3ISbzeqTXIOsmEWc1A54-F2Y1LA2gRCP0EeS2Llr6F7TFbAnDakr9RyLB8BNE1aS8L9K6i-Z09UA9GqREaGnX0Zs/s1600/Week+11+R.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiaJjS7LwHp5aW3Qnw70UIxQnEgM2jkdA2C9XPUmBsUtXf8JVwRxWN3ISbzeqTXIOsmEWc1A54-F2Y1LA2gRCP0EeS2Llr6F7TFbAnDakr9RyLB8BNE1aS8L9K6i-Z09UA9GqREaGnX0Zs/s1600/Week+11+R.JPG" height="320" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
For the next 3 weeks worth of pages I used the following box of supplies:<br />
<a href="http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/brands/american-crafts/summer.html">American Crafts Summer collection</a><br />
<a href="http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/brands/elle-s-studio/love-you-more.html">Elle's studio Love You More patterned paper </a><br />
<a href="http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/brands/simple-stories/diy-boutique.html">Simple stories DIY boutique stickers </a><br />
<a href="http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/brands/studio-calico.html">Studio Calico alphabets & embellishments</a><br />
<br />
Week 12 included some mini-milestones like a first ride in the supermarket trolley, some dressing up, some teething and some napping. We didn't go far or do much but I managed to fill the pages by adding quite a bit of journalling. For example a small photo of my son napping was accompanied by some writing about how he isn't reading to give up napping just yet!<br />

I just love these <a href="http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/brands/studio-calico/lemonlush/studio-calico-lemonlush-acetate-butterflies.html">Studio Calico acetate butterflies</a> - they're so pretty and look gorgeous layered up over papers and stickers. I added in some Project Life 3x4" cards from the <a href="http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/brands/becky-higgins-project-life/sunshine.html">Sunshine edition </a>for the smaller pockets. <br />

Next up....week 13. I just adore that hexagon patterned paper from the American Crafts Summer collection -such fun. As usual I keep my embellishment fairly flat and simple for these spreads. Stickers are brilliant for this and Simple Stories have come up with the goods again with their DIY Boutique range - usable elements, words and labels in a variety of bright colours. It's like they made them just for me!<br />

The last spread I made using these supplies is week 14. To make the overall look slightly different I left out the pink tones from these pages and stuck to the blues, greens, reds & yellows. By restricting your colour scheme like this you can get a variety of appearances from the same set of products. It feels nice to be using all these cute photos. Just simple, everyday moments, released from their digital prison on the computer and recorded!<br />

<br />
This month I have been having a play with some stencils! I do like to get value for money and as masks and stencils are so versatile they do tend to be a staple of my crafting supplies.<br />
<br />
It's nearly 12 months since my eldest son got married but I am still wading through the photos and have yet to complete an album, maybe if I knuckle down it can be a first anniversary present?!<br />
<br />
I love how the addition of a little gesso and a stencil can give some texture to a layout and <a href="http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/brands/teresa-collins-designs/ba-si-cal-ly-essnetial/teresa-collins-ba-si-cal-ly-essential-12-x-12-stencil-scallop.html">this one from Teresa Collins</a> reminded me of the falling confetti in the photo.<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEghp3OYaOPIqG5QGi7aKbUXUBib_pu5ukipyM8JqxhxehnMVAvceIJznrrdbjqgKZh1z2a-I2a3AXKNW6fCD_uJ3K1r8ZBDwnd90x_YpehDaqUEN1ZLqv_r6IvU4THHpkF5-abO6NKBm5ZN/s1600/june+006.JPG" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEghp3OYaOPIqG5QGi7aKbUXUBib_pu5ukipyM8JqxhxehnMVAvceIJznrrdbjqgKZh1z2a-I2a3AXKNW6fCD_uJ3K1r8ZBDwnd90x_YpehDaqUEN1ZLqv_r6IvU4THHpkF5-abO6NKBm5ZN/s320/june+006.JPG" /></a><br />
<br />
Stencils in home decor went out of fashion for a while, but with all things vintage and shabby chic being so popular at the moment, stencils are most definitely 'in' right now.<br />
I found this cute little cupboard at a car boot recently<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjS79OpjLTKyQCUSa_lIHWLd3885Kt7PeaLmtuF5KDdsZDAYvAls3_gUF4aZLPz-7HPYXoNp4oM1zJ6-U0X27fMEOvrrb-KEAPFbS5wYBZOEKcVDO6SodheAxfib1hdZvaBx0JtOTzf0y_1/s1600/june+005.JPG" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjS79OpjLTKyQCUSa_lIHWLd3885Kt7PeaLmtuF5KDdsZDAYvAls3_gUF4aZLPz-7HPYXoNp4oM1zJ6-U0X27fMEOvrrb-KEAPFbS5wYBZOEKcVDO6SodheAxfib1hdZvaBx0JtOTzf0y_1/s320/june+005.JPG" /></a><br />
<br />
Although I quite liked it as it was, I couldn't resist adding a little bit of colour, while still keeping it fairly simple.<br />
I used chalk paints, white as a base and stencilled in a duck egg blue.<br />
I also painted the inside of the cupboard in the blue, and even repeated the stencil design on the inside of the drawers, the addition of the little key on a bit of hessian gave it that finishing touch!<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj4bG7E_NFIA6uGGeAhoKUZjOFiF2Z0JDUJFmLthyQQZLlNa6eu5EK1PIeSuw5INfeQ8KiUNdd1fDLmUN7yeMZXnH7PDiq8ONE0J3JwyfMVT-jnU0njHLYSy2bqJkCy62ZlDCkbmukVW9Ey/s1600/june+002.JPG" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj4bG7E_NFIA6uGGeAhoKUZjOFiF2Z0JDUJFmLthyQQZLlNa6eu5EK1PIeSuw5INfeQ8KiUNdd1fDLmUN7yeMZXnH7PDiq8ONE0J3JwyfMVT-jnU0njHLYSy2bqJkCy62ZlDCkbmukVW9Ey/s320/june+002.JPG" /></a><br />
<br />
I don't know about you but I think it was £1 well spent!!<br />
<br />
Finally I wanted to try stencilling on fabric, for this I chose Heidi Swapp's stencil minis and a scrap of hessian.<br />
<br />
I loved the contrast of the black against the neutral background and thought it would make a great card topper, with the addition of some buttons, washi tape and American Craft patterned papers, I was done!
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh1x98Ml-9dDFrYO0mylEuJCiLUrJ1Tin0c5AtUM1aygYwrBxJs5D6-3xE4Udto1pz2nkPXiAcimu0O2is3ZEhx-QJC0qDcSXoFhU9PLA3a-8VKvk9KXSJNlNtq6hb-0orX2sXJuRU9umOQ/s1600/june+008.JPG" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh1x98Ml-9dDFrYO0mylEuJCiLUrJ1Tin0c5AtUM1aygYwrBxJs5D6-3xE4Udto1pz2nkPXiAcimu0O2is3ZEhx-QJC0qDcSXoFhU9PLA3a-8VKvk9KXSJNlNtq6hb-0orX2sXJuRU9umOQ/s320/june+008.JPG" /></a><br />
<br />
So that's all from me for now! For those of you heading off to sunnier climes, have a great time and for those of you, like me, who have chosen to stay at home, happy crafting!!

Managed to catch some crafting time lately ? If you are in need of some inspiration, I have a couple of layouts to share with you today.<br />
<br />
Have you seen the 12x12 sheet of wood veneer ? I got one immediately but unfortunately it is no longer in stock. Those of you lucky enough to bag one, wanna see what I've made ?<br />
<br />
<img height="400" src="http://www.americancrafts.com/Images.aspx?PIFID=12965" width="400" /><br />
<br />
The sheet is soft so I went ahead and attempted to cut it into smaller sections. In fact I ended up with three sections. I started by using a craft knife but it was quite fiddly so later cuts were made with my Tim Holtz scissors. I absolutely do not recommend trashing your scissors in this way but my scissors came away unharmed. So, my advise is, exercise caution.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjuRrYyzbC2SiTzBy8OfwRYEcOhPtPNE-qMOh_srDtcvN-QL6Jc-beUfwsHkSIvfSBpMaafhoAsrn8Uv5S3EtuQEOrycR9m1Q4-oXkI2cvtuSnZWCK00bU1YeNTyp8yoEPIF9AYURO7c84/s1600/wood+veneer.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjuRrYyzbC2SiTzBy8OfwRYEcOhPtPNE-qMOh_srDtcvN-QL6Jc-beUfwsHkSIvfSBpMaafhoAsrn8Uv5S3EtuQEOrycR9m1Q4-oXkI2cvtuSnZWCK00bU1YeNTyp8yoEPIF9AYURO7c84/s1600/wood+veneer.jpg" height="213" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I also used the following lovely products, mainly from the <a href="http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/brands/american-crafts/dear-lizzy-daydreamer.html">Dear Lizzy Daydreamer</a> collection.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
My layout is about sushi so I started by adding a lot of sushi related words to a piece of wood veneer.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I added the title on top of these words.</div>

Hi everyone. Jen G here with a couple of pages to share using the Crate Paper <a href="http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/brands/crate-paper/boys-rule.html" target="_blank">Boys Rule </a> range. Of course the name Boys Rule spoke to me straight away as a mum of 3 boys. My boys are all very into bikes, skateboards, roller blades and scooters right now and the papers lend themselves really well to photos of that theme. The vellum papers in the range are really fun additions to a page. Here I have used the <a href="http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/brands/crate-paper/boys-rule/crate-paper-boys-rule-vellum-paper-stars.html" target="_blank">vellum stars</a> over the "b" side of <a href="http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/brands/crate-paper/boys-rule/crate-paper-boys-rule-race-track.html" target="_blank">Race Track</a> to add some dimension. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I have to apologise for the bad photos. I was losing the light fast this afternoon and snapped them on my phone. I have plenty of the range left to play with so I will try to add some more pages soon. Thanks for stopping by!Jengahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02908694990742092767noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1924741282635634327.post-83033484641579940492014-04-17T09:53:00.004+01:002014-04-17T09:53:58.509+01:00What's Blowing in the Wind with MME Now and ThenThe sun is shining where I am. Hope you are similarly blessed. What's the bet the weather will hold for the long weekend ?<br />
<br />
The good weather has inspired me to create a couple of cheerful layouts.<br />
<br />
Firstly, I made a kite using some patterned paper and hid it in the clouds. That made me smile.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgig41SRoyDG8wrrogRk2bmxR60azO8cRNDcbofEOCbbU_k6PEKVarQObH4C0NZ1ofUsmVXvSQKUw_VmYEcIIGofFINcEXV5fMpmGvIlYdevKZ8cmcCenJc2bF6YIqVDmrY21rh63aSTik/s1600/goats+kite.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgig41SRoyDG8wrrogRk2bmxR60azO8cRNDcbofEOCbbU_k6PEKVarQObH4C0NZ1ofUsmVXvSQKUw_VmYEcIIGofFINcEXV5fMpmGvIlYdevKZ8cmcCenJc2bF6YIqVDmrY21rh63aSTik/s1600/goats+kite.jpg" height="213" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I also made some pin wheels out of 1 1/2" patterned paper. It was quite fiddly to fold at that size but I think they looked sweet.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxBXXDcl3iOd3X-KK164U482-ubtbir0LfjiCgD7YSuoAI44lMuorteUFAaot2t1Tit4nEzvchyphenhyphenaRBpgYyvQstUJjSBKmiPyuuQ9bLIgtxurbnC7uABjccZVsTttCe46KYFznsCRfXggk/s1600/deny+this+pin+wheel.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxBXXDcl3iOd3X-KK164U482-ubtbir0LfjiCgD7YSuoAI44lMuorteUFAaot2t1Tit4nEzvchyphenhyphenaRBpgYyvQstUJjSBKmiPyuuQ9bLIgtxurbnC7uABjccZVsTttCe46KYFznsCRfXggk/s1600/deny+this+pin+wheel.jpg" height="213" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Both layouts are about a trip to Berlin Zoo last Christmas. My teenage boys actually asked to visit! The animal photos provided the following narrative ...starting with a bored yawning tiger ( yeah, right ! ) followed by the winking sea lion ( really ? ) and the two nodding sea lions ( LOL ).</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFvF940VfNNSbuQiCN4mi5tTRm9ErJ9OKByInApzq-LRm6qdxZxbQrpR-wy4WpgE-2FXSMmcT-dVU4juTxWUniVkStVKcfyqgzHj7nJjNqfrTLM70Mi2xsoDnkK8hRHp4F7xPFnhwmGME/s1600/deny+this.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFvF940VfNNSbuQiCN4mi5tTRm9ErJ9OKByInApzq-LRm6qdxZxbQrpR-wy4WpgE-2FXSMmcT-dVU4juTxWUniVkStVKcfyqgzHj7nJjNqfrTLM70Mi2xsoDnkK8hRHp4F7xPFnhwmGME/s1600/deny+this.jpg" height="400" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The second layout features my 18 year old feeding the goats.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWSc_wbiyZUiqrO18lGnGyMQI5eg7jSohatoS7XwoGwdbeNiztHvuKYCH0rwJx9JnkTLWhAbqFZVBOyzaOGvXPXHhCHT2ebVk8VUC53IG8EZDDOdi46Egww1qrlasnmwIT6TBf4p7tKD8/s1600/feed+the+goats.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWSc_wbiyZUiqrO18lGnGyMQI5eg7jSohatoS7XwoGwdbeNiztHvuKYCH0rwJx9JnkTLWhAbqFZVBOyzaOGvXPXHhCHT2ebVk8VUC53IG8EZDDOdi46Egww1qrlasnmwIT6TBf4p7tKD8/s1600/feed+the+goats.jpg" height="400" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
It showed that a lot of fun can be had at the zoo, whatever your age. When did you last visit the zoo ? Maybe this Easter is the perfect opportunity.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
You can find the <a href="http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/brands/my-mind-s-eye/now-then.html">Now & Then</a> range here.</div>

Morning folks. We are on half term here but there are no fun days out for us - Sam has chicken pox, not a mild case either! So I'm afraid today's post is a quick one from me. I ordered the <a href="http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/brands/elle-s-studio/love-you-more.html" target="_blank">Elle's Studio Love You More Papers </a> expecting them to feature more red than pink. They are definitely more pink than red though. I have used pink papers for LO's of my boys before but this range just happened to suit a few photos of my niece's last weekend with us. She likes to sleep here with her cousins whilst her parents have to have a "sleepover" at Grandma's. My current favourite embellishments - <a href="http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/brands/sarah-s-cards-ltd.html" target="_blank">Sarahscards Flair Badges</a> - feature on these layouts as well as some of the gorgeous <a href="http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=cork+stickers" target="_blank">cork stickers</a> available in the shop. </div>

<br />
Have you ever rediscovered a product that you'd forgotten about? That happened to me recently with the wonderful <a href="http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/brands/hero-arts.html?p=2">Hero Arts shadow inks</a>.<br />
<br />
Many moons ago in my card-making days I used to use them a lot, then they just seemed to disappear from the market, or maybe I wasn't shopping in the right places!!<br />
<br />
Well the good news is, the shop now has a fantastic range of colours available and my love of them has been reawakened!<br />
<br />
So, what, I hear you ask, is so special about shadow inks?<br />
Well I'm glad you asked!!<br />
I just love the subtlety of them, they are so much softer than normal ink pads and so you can create beautiful backgrounds that don't overpower the rest of your layout and of course, as suggested by their name, they are great for creating shadows and adding depth!<br />
<br />
My first layout showcases a couple of photos of me and my other half with the flowers my son and daughter in law bought us as a 'Thank you' for all our help with their wedding last year.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiXv5nwAmC8ezaGCmjonETvfXqg9d_GCjQ7lM3nPjw4h7hdWib1dFLg6WM6FiU5-WUIe78m0khQ-p4yu4ZUHV155jVtiGff3jesD3AYMXpNYeog2hwCMyQ5tG9PzQVSfj2gkq6e1KXm7zWB/s1600/bunch.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiXv5nwAmC8ezaGCmjonETvfXqg9d_GCjQ7lM3nPjw4h7hdWib1dFLg6WM6FiU5-WUIe78m0khQ-p4yu4ZUHV155jVtiGff3jesD3AYMXpNYeog2hwCMyQ5tG9PzQVSfj2gkq6e1KXm7zWB/s1600/bunch.jpg" height="320" width="314" /></a></div>
<br />
I punched a few circles out of the <a href="http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/brands/american-crafts/amy-tangerine-plus-one/american-crafts-amy-tangerine-plus-one-pal.html">Amy Tan pal paper</a> from the <a href="http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/brands/american-crafts/amy-tangerine-plus-one.html?p=1">plus one range</a> and used the negative as a mask to ink through to create a shadow<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhTrq-vXSchcFGrLxvjDDuHlUzn6pwcpXHH_S2IaMiKSxRwY4Px7iqLyYKEsTKN_rjGv9EQzx5rp3EHmKQV5_1g0QQWobBcZIo6_ayCegpwsMYuD5u2PuQXdO4qy6QS-2UyoD7o5sSsvxNI/s1600/bunch1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhTrq-vXSchcFGrLxvjDDuHlUzn6pwcpXHH_S2IaMiKSxRwY4Px7iqLyYKEsTKN_rjGv9EQzx5rp3EHmKQV5_1g0QQWobBcZIo6_ayCegpwsMYuD5u2PuQXdO4qy6QS-2UyoD7o5sSsvxNI/s1600/bunch1.jpg" height="213" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
My second layout is my stepson with my gorgeous grandson.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhIMp2XrOBl8X6BZFbf-ghF-EwQvPdQDq6nOvfwuEe_61TRMv5BlNjEblrCup9o4zi3u_xSNwrGgUF7A3zjqOMEYmt_lKuSAb-Mxf7gK40otM3F6DCWGYoM8hAdMP0SZkQ99Bhm5uk8Ofd5/s1600/giddyup.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhIMp2XrOBl8X6BZFbf-ghF-EwQvPdQDq6nOvfwuEe_61TRMv5BlNjEblrCup9o4zi3u_xSNwrGgUF7A3zjqOMEYmt_lKuSAb-Mxf7gK40otM3F6DCWGYoM8hAdMP0SZkQ99Bhm5uk8Ofd5/s1600/giddyup.jpg" height="320" width="315" /></a></div>
<br />
Again I used the<a href="http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/brands/american-crafts/amy-tangerine-plus-one.html"> plus one range</a> from American crafts. I used a template and of course my shadow ink to mark out a circle of dots ready to position my gems, to represent the roller coaster in the photo.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEikp9eYajy8dZ5jP5tGgo17m7wKR3e-Seja7KeAHPK9vAnSLhKvfy9JJxxFopTdP-SeCtYfQ1OoqKjZ1WXeM4pozuWSPzcaSg_lrG2D97XvR3HWZHjGFXPGleN4OH9HK8pLEwIlzvXCNVWJ/s1600/giddyup2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEikp9eYajy8dZ5jP5tGgo17m7wKR3e-Seja7KeAHPK9vAnSLhKvfy9JJxxFopTdP-SeCtYfQ1OoqKjZ1WXeM4pozuWSPzcaSg_lrG2D97XvR3HWZHjGFXPGleN4OH9HK8pLEwIlzvXCNVWJ/s1600/giddyup2.jpg" height="144" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
and finally a layout about the kittens that I found myself fostering last year!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjL2JGaCSFa7Dtfe6WY8roDYu026miU9a7YT97ab5AYRVhpcvkIwZBVWM4UpfcehUKvdauytFBpKIpMIGAuE3_MQun_VmSGZNqcWGdou8G3-P0d7gIfZB1T1xuYYq1pGte5_hZcevXa6BfG/s1600/Rise.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjL2JGaCSFa7Dtfe6WY8roDYu026miU9a7YT97ab5AYRVhpcvkIwZBVWM4UpfcehUKvdauytFBpKIpMIGAuE3_MQun_VmSGZNqcWGdou8G3-P0d7gIfZB1T1xuYYq1pGte5_hZcevXa6BfG/s1600/Rise.jpg" height="320" width="316" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
this time I used the shadow ink to stamp a couple of cameras, although this particular stamp is no longer available in the shop there are a few really good alternatives <a href="http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/stamping/stamps.html?p=1">here</a>!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgErDvFxZFVgtFUKN4DO-j6OFB73-GYP5C5HO-UWF5VGOldZZLqijv3Os7er5MqAlBvz4jfjYh__9iwq7TOSRWmJkwyHV3I9XTU3ve7uKT2CMpv1XrO3WVY0ulzxAQwHGahZatvCmNL9ql2/s1600/rise1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgErDvFxZFVgtFUKN4DO-j6OFB73-GYP5C5HO-UWF5VGOldZZLqijv3Os7er5MqAlBvz4jfjYh__9iwq7TOSRWmJkwyHV3I9XTU3ve7uKT2CMpv1XrO3WVY0ulzxAQwHGahZatvCmNL9ql2/s1600/rise1.jpg" height="193" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
So, if you haven't tried them already, I hope I have given you some incentive to give shadow inks a go?!<br />
But, if you get as addicted to them as I am, I refuse to take any responsibility!<br />
'See' you soon<br />

<br />
For the first couple of weeks I am sharing, I was still using the same batch of supplies as in my last post - that is the following:<br />
<a href="http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/brands/becky-higgins-project-life/slate.html">Project Life Core Kit - Slate</a><br />
<a href="http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/brands/studio-calico/wanderlust.html">Studio Calico Wanderlust - Labels</a><br />

<a href="http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/brands/american-crafts/dear-lizzy-daydreamer.html">Dear Lizzy - Puffy Hearts </a><br />
Miscellaneous papers from <a href="http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/brands/american-crafts/amy-tangerine-plus-one.html">Amy Tangerine Plus One</a>, <a href="http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/brands/studio-calico/lemonlush.html">Studio Calico Lemon Lush</a> & <a href="http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/brands/studio-calico/wanderlust.html">Studio Calico Wanderlust </a><br />
<br />
Week seven included some illnesses, teething and a fair amount of grouchiness. Despite that I managed to get a spread that included some happy photos and plenty of journalling. I have heard plenty of people talking about social media and its ability to make us feel inadequate in our accomplishments and our everyday lives. I came across the concept of the 'highlight reel' and I liked it immediately. The saying goes something along the lines of not comparing your everyday with other people's highlight reel. People do tend to put the best bits out there onto the internet, be it through photos, facebook, instagram, or scrapbooking. One part of project life I adore is telling the true story. Admitting that this week was kind of a lost cause. That really all we did was sit on the sofa and cuddle. That I told my son off umpteen times before breakfast. Recording the everyday, good and bad, is part of what makes this project so great for me, and I hope my kids (and me!) will enjoy reading about those little things in the future. <br />

<br />
Week eight was definitely a better week for us! There were family photos, crazy antics with pants, sibling cuddles, and a new project for me (which always makes me happy - I love starting new things!).<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-cQdwWlHthjAkROp6MypYA_5ZeSwCFcLXbJxjuGfAwneBaUrkEH7qjJnCuy4sF9YRkvLYfco5uCi0KpQ-pY6WdY06CbEoY9ytANkvnwZssj5YvBOq8Lls3V0JI1y00d4cGTiGQwZECSA/s1600/March+2014-001.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-cQdwWlHthjAkROp6MypYA_5ZeSwCFcLXbJxjuGfAwneBaUrkEH7qjJnCuy4sF9YRkvLYfco5uCi0KpQ-pY6WdY06CbEoY9ytANkvnwZssj5YvBOq8Lls3V0JI1y00d4cGTiGQwZECSA/s1600/March+2014-001.jpg" height="160" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQufxZsCvIByaMW8uD28bjtqCA4do_z091wCHVrMgX2s-_vi9gq7eOvrCn6tXtY7ep8Hksyoso_JNdSz7fC1SETHoA-jBtE8DsWfj98f6TBispdpOXGixJ4fyRK1IjJY8LeR5Of0B7nsw/s1600/IMG_3566.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQufxZsCvIByaMW8uD28bjtqCA4do_z091wCHVrMgX2s-_vi9gq7eOvrCn6tXtY7ep8Hksyoso_JNdSz7fC1SETHoA-jBtE8DsWfj98f6TBispdpOXGixJ4fyRK1IjJY8LeR5Of0B7nsw/s1600/IMG_3566.JPG" height="320" width="319" /></a></div>
<br />
I wanted to include a couple of photos from our family walk, but I didn't feel it was enough to add a whole insert, so I just added a little flap to one of the pockets. I simply used washi tape to hold them together, and the top photo sits outside of the page protector. I am ok with that, since it is between page protectors anyway, and it is a digital image that it backed up. You could always use a 6x4" protector and attach that in the same way. I like how the sensible photo is visible immediately, but lifting the flap shows you the slightly crazier version! (We need to teach the baby about funny faces. She will learn.)<br />
<br />

<br />
For week 9 I switched out my box of supplies to start with some new ones. This time I have used the following:<br />
<a href="http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/brands/my-mind-s-eye/now-then.html">My Minds Eye Now & Then collection</a> (elements from Mildred, Dorothy, and Milo)<br />
<a href="http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/brands/teresa-collins-designs/daily-stories.html">Theresa Collins Daily Stories</a><br />
<a href="http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/brands/me-my-big-ideas.html">Me and My Big Ideas white sticker book </a><br />
<a href="http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/brands/sarah-s-cards-ltd.html">Sarah's Cards Flair</a><br />
<br />
Week nine involved more illness, doctors trips and hospital trips, dressing up, more crazy faces and a birthday party. Yes there is a bit of a theme to our year - dressing up and crazy faces have played a big role in project life 2014 so far! As have illness and hospitals, about which I am less thrilled. Let's hope this is the end of it. <br />

<br />
The MME letter stickers pack is great! You can't tell very easily from the stock picture but you actually get four sheets of stickers in the pack. Each has an alphabet and words, which are really usable and include multiples of things like the days of the week and 'date', 'place', 'time'.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_4nUEOxgI5hWJQznaxBQ2pR1ubpMoI7UZenNjZJ4uI0krGzVCV4PlR3acfBFCQdpe5Ud_JADuHeUJnNynpCT0Dgspv5fteIY76tk_7tyBHPY5uhHgEFZnj-Z4fmpSLMzj8UYZSkcNqO8/s1600/March+2014-004.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_4nUEOxgI5hWJQznaxBQ2pR1ubpMoI7UZenNjZJ4uI0krGzVCV4PlR3acfBFCQdpe5Ud_JADuHeUJnNynpCT0Dgspv5fteIY76tk_7tyBHPY5uhHgEFZnj-Z4fmpSLMzj8UYZSkcNqO8/s1600/March+2014-004.jpg" height="160" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Finally, for now, week ten. Pancake day, a new highchair, some selfies, and at last a bit of sunshine meant a trip to the park and baby girl's first go on the swings (a success!). The Sarah's Cards flair badges are definitely my new favourite thing - the designs are so versatile and I love the little bit of dimension on an otherwise fairly flat project. I do add a few little bits on foam dots, or a bit of wood veneer here and there but in the main I don't add much bulk as this project takes up enough albums as it is! <br />

That's it from me today. Now I'm off to browse the shop and choose some new products for the next few weeks. What hardship! <br />

There are actually three stencils in the pack, but I chose to only use this one for my projects this month. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-3btDsqHkeOI/UzCAiUbEncI/AAAAAAAADoY/SwwsZSWzvio/s1600/be1003-stencil-pack.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-3btDsqHkeOI/UzCAiUbEncI/AAAAAAAADoY/SwwsZSWzvio/s1600/be1003-stencil-pack.png" height="320" width="231" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I made two framed home decor items, one to give as a gift, and one for my own home.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I wanted to add a bit of dimension to the images, so I went on the hunt for some modelling paste, (which unfortunately Sarah isn't stocking in the shop). Whilst trawling through the internet, I came across a recipe to make your own paste, so gave it a go. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Just mix 1/4 cup a baby powder, 1 tbsp of PVA glue, and 1 tbsp of acrylic paint into a nice smooth paste, and apply through the stencil using an old bank card.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-IL6B3fiKCQc/UzCCu3zqgLI/AAAAAAAADok/SBGGtoK24Dc/s1600/2a.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-IL6B3fiKCQc/UzCCu3zqgLI/AAAAAAAADok/SBGGtoK24Dc/s1600/2a.png" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
As you can see when dried the paste gives a slightly raised image. Also an advantage of making your own paste, is you can add which ever colour paint you want. So I made some paste using brown paint.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-rAUlaXXTOI0/UzCDXzAA05I/AAAAAAAADos/9163RFAUmpM/s1600/3a.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-rAUlaXXTOI0/UzCDXzAA05I/AAAAAAAADos/9163RFAUmpM/s1600/3a.png" height="320" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Here are my two finished projects. I've added some <a href="http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/range-4mm-loose-pearls-latte.html" target="_blank">pearls</a> to the white on white one, and a few punched butterflies and pearls to the brown one.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-QCrTlmGgp9o/UzCDqm3nq9I/AAAAAAAADo0/yQdzzxlkGB8/s1600/2.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-QCrTlmGgp9o/UzCDqm3nq9I/AAAAAAAADo0/yQdzzxlkGB8/s1600/2.png" height="320" width="250" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-mC5cVZp7LoM/UzCDrzDBTiI/AAAAAAAADo8/bVnhmyVJf3E/s1600/3.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-mC5cVZp7LoM/UzCDrzDBTiI/AAAAAAAADo8/bVnhmyVJf3E/s1600/3.png" height="320" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
I also got a pack of <a href="http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/american-crafts-diy-shop-permanent-chalk-markers.html" target="_blank">American Crafts chalk markers </a>to try, then forgot to use them, duh. So I made this really simple card using the black one. I really love the finish the markers produce, just like black board paint.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-clJUdrFrw9o/UzCESGktetI/AAAAAAAADpI/_At7ekfqDbs/s1600/1.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-clJUdrFrw9o/UzCESGktetI/AAAAAAAADpI/_At7ekfqDbs/s1600/1.png" height="320" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Finally I made this new home card for our friends, and used gold ink applied with a small sponge through the stencil, and added a small punched heart.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-FPPcAC3dONs/UzCE7SumbvI/AAAAAAAADpQ/h023fEbhcaA/s1600/4.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-FPPcAC3dONs/UzCE7SumbvI/AAAAAAAADpQ/h023fEbhcaA/s1600/4.png" height="320" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

How are you ? It is Ifa with you today, sharing a couple of "Painterly" layouts.<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I was excited to see the hand drawn Amy Tan titles in the Plus One Range, I ordered the <a href="http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/brands/american-crafts/amy-tangerine-plus-one/american-crafts-amy-tangerine-plus-one-rub-on-transfers.html">rub ons</a>. I also ordered the cute <a href="http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/brands/american-crafts/amy-tangerine-plus-one/american-crafts-amy-tangerine-plus-one-remarks-puffy-stickers.html">puffy stickers</a>. But I preferred the <a href="http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/brands/crate-paper/maggie-holmes-styleboard/crate-paper-maggie-holmes-styleboard-12x12-paper-pad.html">papers from Maggie Holmes Styleboard</a> collection so I ordered those instead. I think the combination of bright splash of Amy Tan colours on sweet Maggie Holmes papers is just so pretty!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj4hW18nGiAWTUBkTisM-QV74-QkYmFHU7MbctuMvBEZs0k9rK3Lf7d5iJyImCb-Jf969ToEQ-BqEf5EftGcWedUXQYuuZQbOqqYENR-6hPvRobRs75nTIHuLifFQlJrpFvxCrU6XHQk_k/s1600/366844_l_rub-on_transfers_-_complement_2.99.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj4hW18nGiAWTUBkTisM-QV74-QkYmFHU7MbctuMvBEZs0k9rK3Lf7d5iJyImCb-Jf969ToEQ-BqEf5EftGcWedUXQYuuZQbOqqYENR-6hPvRobRs75nTIHuLifFQlJrpFvxCrU6XHQk_k/s1600/366844_l_rub-on_transfers_-_complement_2.99.jpg" height="320" width="146" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhIWR1pQVPQ-7ucvp6gontPxO2qxUYwvsXmzTnZGhqfI_1X5r7GPtfnAirZ4lzn05qFprs79JBr4AZF5dzGQi8F6m76Xzxcs5rSAit8eULsHfRCM2dnVRsTZwlwc1bMAerU9cIkoxvB1uM/s1600/683440_l_12_x_12_paper_pad.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhIWR1pQVPQ-7ucvp6gontPxO2qxUYwvsXmzTnZGhqfI_1X5r7GPtfnAirZ4lzn05qFprs79JBr4AZF5dzGQi8F6m76Xzxcs5rSAit8eULsHfRCM2dnVRsTZwlwc1bMAerU9cIkoxvB1uM/s1600/683440_l_12_x_12_paper_pad.jpg" height="320" width="307" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I wanted a painted base for my layout so I added some splashes of paint using Tim Holtz distress stain. I then added a few circles from <a href="http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/brands/crate-paper/maggie-holmes-styleboard/crate-paper-maggie-holmes-styleboard-vellum-shapes.html">Maggie Holmes Styleboard Vellum Shapes</a> before applying some rub ons on top. Ensure that the paint is dry before doing this. Also note that the rub on does not apply as easily on the vellum as it does on paper so take care over this.</div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgKGvQ3QXthXt1DOp5EtKJ-0fMtUs_zWWlKA-hpGrzXSvbKb51hirxQKeDLd0FrsBOVq8DncR8eZQzJ1dfCfnouRdMdYyKAvepiKYdO4Ke_jDzGqOGidZzUGSm6nVzAh4PPYZVztcfOw98/s1600/01berlin+background.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgKGvQ3QXthXt1DOp5EtKJ-0fMtUs_zWWlKA-hpGrzXSvbKb51hirxQKeDLd0FrsBOVq8DncR8eZQzJ1dfCfnouRdMdYyKAvepiKYdO4Ke_jDzGqOGidZzUGSm6nVzAh4PPYZVztcfOw98/s1600/01berlin+background.jpg" height="213" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Next I arranged some photos and some vellum shapes for the layout.</div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgFTsY_X1P8Ixj_eM9z7NuwmP8_YHeZGSqTODnuCQM-E1qCi6qsIBaH98-e7x8BURAJJRBUSoEpcYszKBDYVUAi8MYUL-U_x6rF5WwKeXT7Zu5xZhQdOywH85K60SjTQ4_eQcuSps12kZY/s1600/02+berlin+photos.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgFTsY_X1P8Ixj_eM9z7NuwmP8_YHeZGSqTODnuCQM-E1qCi6qsIBaH98-e7x8BURAJJRBUSoEpcYszKBDYVUAi8MYUL-U_x6rF5WwKeXT7Zu5xZhQdOywH85K60SjTQ4_eQcuSps12kZY/s1600/02+berlin+photos.jpg" height="213" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
After putting the background and photos together, I added a few more vellum shapes and some blackboard banner stickers proclaimed the title.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjO7YjL9uA4YwpbcT4iMrO9WDg0APKb-P__Hylxpd2xbBmhEYfvYNKrzzSk98QgpC3Bd88rG-Fl2RBOBSiwsjF5CxH9h22HQOD7HDDN3bl-jg4ar0BUS1yDpcxwlqCWTXyFfT3fdJm2Afo/s1600/04+berlin+labels.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="display: inline !important; margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjO7YjL9uA4YwpbcT4iMrO9WDg0APKb-P__Hylxpd2xbBmhEYfvYNKrzzSk98QgpC3Bd88rG-Fl2RBOBSiwsjF5CxH9h22HQOD7HDDN3bl-jg4ar0BUS1yDpcxwlqCWTXyFfT3fdJm2Afo/s1600/04+berlin+labels.jpg" height="213" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
And this is my finish layout about a walking tour we did in Berlin.</div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div>
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
My next layout followed the same recipe as you can see from the close-up. I used more circle vellum shapes to accompany photos from our Pool table.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

Hi all. Jen G here with a really quick post about scrapping selfies. Everyone loves a good selfie these days but they don't always turn out as great photos! These are a few silly snaps of my boys and me taken on my phone in the park a few weeks ago. I recently ordered a packet of the <a href="http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/brands/simple-stories/a-charmed-life/simple-stories-a-charmed-life-snatp-insta-squares.html" target="_blank">Simple Stories Instasqaures</a> to play with and they worked perfectly with these photos. The packet contains twenty-four 2x2, sixteen 3x3 and twelve 4x4 squares that coordinate with a range - in this case <a href="http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/brands/simple-stories/a-charmed-life.html" target="_blank">"A Charmed Life". </a> <a href="http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/brands/simple-stories/a-charmed-life/simple-stories-a-charmed-life-12x12-expressions-stickers.html" target="_blank">The Expressions Stickers</a> came in useful to embellish the pages and Sarahscards brand new flair badges might be my new favourite thing in the world E V E R! Seriously, go and check them out <a href="http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/brands/sarah-s-cards-ltd.html" target="_blank">here</a>. </div>

Every time I go onto the shop website there's something new and wonderful to admire (and buy) right now!<br />
I had a hard time choosing products for my February project life pages, there were just too many to choose from. But I'll come back to that in a moment.<br />
Firstly, I have to show you the rest of my January pages. If you read last month you'll know that life sort of got in the way a bit for me. Well, that hasn't stopped. Our house has been hit with every conceivable winter nursery school bug and illness you can imagine! It feels like it's been a constant stream of antibiotics, doctor visits and boxes of tissues over the last 5 weeks. I hope we have reached the end of it now - cross your fingers for us! In amongst the piles of laundry, dishes and dust I have managed to catch up on January and complete half of February so I'm considering that a win.<br />
<br />
First up is week three. A fairly quiet week at home and mostly consisting of various fun and games in the house!<br />
A quick reminder of my main products for January:<br />

<br />
Here is week four. This week was even quieter than the last as I was in hospital at the beginning of the week! When I can't choose a stand out photo I like to make a little collage of 4 in a square - it's a nice way to show off a few favourites together as a set. <br />

<br />
Week five is the changeover week. I've never particularly stuck to one set of supplies per month before, preferring to change weekly, but I like the speed at which my pages are coming together with just one box of goodies to play with! I wasn't sure how to work the changeover week - continue with January supplies or dive into February? I chose to work with my new box of supplies simply because I looked through my January box and felt I was getting a bit low on certain items, and also because I really wanted to play with the new stuff! It was pretty freeing to go through the January leftovers and throw out most of it. Half used sticker sheets with all the non useful letters left, die cut packs with only the sayings/icons I wasn't too keen on left, a few snippets of paper that weren't really big enough to do anything with - they all got binned! It was refreshing! I did keep some things - leftover 3x4 and 6x4 cards, and half a ticket roll from Fancy Pants.<br />
<br />
My new set of supplies included:<br />

<br />
There was a lot of cuteness this week from the littlies to record - holding hands, looking adorable, playing nicely, taking selfies, enjoying each other. I try to "keep things real" and document a rounded view of our life, but this week the good definitely outshone the negative! I love weeks like that!. <br />

The last week I have to share with you right now is week six. There was so much nuttiness this week. I had so many pictures of my son with pants/trousers on his head I didn't want to include them all but I felt I had to include quite a few for the reader to get an accurate view of how this week was for us! There were also a lot of pictures of my daughter trying new foods as we had just started the weaning process. I guess some weeks you just have a lot of repetition in your life, and that is fine. This week my daughter turned 6 months. We did have a little photoshoot, which I will record on an insert page along with some journalling, but I am waiting to get my photos printed in a big batch. I've used home printing for the rest of my pictures this month. I've stuck a note above my desk to remind me that I need to come back and fill in that gap at some point. I'm okay with that. Previously it might have stopped me from moving onward, I would have felt stuck, but no more! <br />

Hi there, Tracy G here to share a few cards I've made using scraps of paper, a few punches and a couple of dies by <a href="http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/glues-tools/dies.html?brand=552&limit=200" target="_blank">My Favorite Things</a>.<br />
<br />
These are the dies I used, <br />

I made the cute little chick using a punched circle and 2 hearts for the wings, 2 stars for the feet and an asterisk for the 'hair', from the Calendar set.<br />

It is Ifa with you today. The DT had a reshuffle and I have a new slot. What are you up to this half term ? Put your feet up and rest, right ? I hope so but whatever you get up to, make sure you have fun.<br />
<br />
Today I am going to share a couple of layouts from my visit to Berlin last Christmas. Don't worry, they are not Christmas layouts but I am using Valentine's range. I try not to get too pigeon-holed by colours ( my boys love pink, didn't I tell you ? ) or specific icons such as heart. Ok, maybe Christmas baubles on non-christmassy layout will have you label me barmy! But I am not that bonkers, right ? Ok, let's get a move on and let you be the judge.<br />
<br />
I have used the very lovely Love Notes by Crate Paper. I always have a soft spot for Crate Paper's Valentine's range. But to mix it up a bit, I have also used Crate Paper Close Knits for some more saturated colours.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgu2uxS6zbQEqdRVYIlRmRMkepnRSyCODIP3xuZBzTXQeMNW2VvLwCB6jtOu4LpmSOqsdIoGbXVZ3F_x9Fbgt7huSnn0aZ6VC4KI9PJ0j0IN7GzOqUXb_5rCxBOJdkDhtzG2mhGkHhPbtc/s1600/683361_l.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgu2uxS6zbQEqdRVYIlRmRMkepnRSyCODIP3xuZBzTXQeMNW2VvLwCB6jtOu4LpmSOqsdIoGbXVZ3F_x9Fbgt7huSnn0aZ6VC4KI9PJ0j0IN7GzOqUXb_5rCxBOJdkDhtzG2mhGkHhPbtc/s1600/683361_l.jpg" height="320" width="308" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="text-align: start;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="text-align: start;">I ordered the Love Notes chipboard {{aaah}}, stickers,badges and Thickers. It would appear that the chipboard is now out of stock in store but I hope some of you lucky ones have a pack.</span></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBbzQkRzUWQ_lpMDJYJPpEefLhVbgfNizNDPR6JwteQDItu_4Sb-YKOCxzvko1pseO7vq_thung0Y15TZosVOUhTPj0IZEysG0wtJ4PWF94TO5t5moDD2tCygLgg8teOPGUf66-n2sivc/s1600/3012718_600x600.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBbzQkRzUWQ_lpMDJYJPpEefLhVbgfNizNDPR6JwteQDItu_4Sb-YKOCxzvko1pseO7vq_thung0Y15TZosVOUhTPj0IZEysG0wtJ4PWF94TO5t5moDD2tCygLgg8teOPGUf66-n2sivc/s1600/3012718_600x600.jpg" height="320" width="313" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Can you see how sweet the chipboard and stickers are, mixed up here in my "Love Berlin" layout ?</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjdwBCmHtbeDCdjznEojwiS1hrr-b43-PtP96J0J4RuNE9YN4GBoYOtwyve8Wn-MWECNUsXXdX_K5Qt3H6WoAj-AJ1yPigdcVYxEdtowF5rJndQYnF4DXeWp96ldE8qbb9z3hhDQa6fXX4/s1600/love+berlin+sneak.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjdwBCmHtbeDCdjznEojwiS1hrr-b43-PtP96J0J4RuNE9YN4GBoYOtwyve8Wn-MWECNUsXXdX_K5Qt3H6WoAj-AJ1yPigdcVYxEdtowF5rJndQYnF4DXeWp96ldE8qbb9z3hhDQa6fXX4/s1600/love+berlin+sneak.jpg" height="213" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
For "Love Berlin", I started with the assortment of chipboards and stickers, straight down the middle. I added some papers underneath followed by the Thickers title. I added the photos directly above this pile of loveliness and wrote my journalling underneath. And the photos are intentionally haphazardly glued down to free my inner obsession with straight lines. {{and ps: that chipboard in the middle of journalling is covering up a mistake }}<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhveWQixMHFLtyhOBWiCvuoOg8QP_O09GyImREMpUJVnr-fUo7Mv0QRqKbW3kV2htMZzWYGaR5a8P1lKb4XMEdZhAgTN_OSKhcYszRewUy0-2DJLyPanssRdvHhSKKbZ6penTrh9xI7x0Q/s1600/love+berlin.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhveWQixMHFLtyhOBWiCvuoOg8QP_O09GyImREMpUJVnr-fUo7Mv0QRqKbW3kV2htMZzWYGaR5a8P1lKb4XMEdZhAgTN_OSKhcYszRewUy0-2DJLyPanssRdvHhSKKbZ6penTrh9xI7x0Q/s1600/love+berlin.jpg" height="400" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The next layout also features 3 photos from Berlin. Instead of it being about Berlin which I am sure many more other layouts will be, I wanted to document the fact that I enjoy spending time with my boys and dearest A. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjs_EqRO_BmRQ6F9cmTPWGzKB5mj_7dWPYvFEDzKXpS6qB5qfHzk4wwAwSN4ukHq1Mp-5UnrLhQv_puOSq0Xm0qmRMGhDmsdsYa5KpfijwyCbBHA28MBogGoLBgiKW9SYx2mH5ZhqnXuNk/s1600/time+together.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjs_EqRO_BmRQ6F9cmTPWGzKB5mj_7dWPYvFEDzKXpS6qB5qfHzk4wwAwSN4ukHq1Mp-5UnrLhQv_puOSq0Xm0qmRMGhDmsdsYa5KpfijwyCbBHA28MBogGoLBgiKW9SYx2mH5ZhqnXuNk/s1600/time+together.jpg" height="400" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="text-align: left;">I had some leftover paperclips from last month which became tiny frames this month. I had to use four paper clips because that is our family's magic number. They are framing little stickers labelled, me, you, you & you. Can you see in the close up ?</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="text-align: left;"><br /></span></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I used some Amy Tan alphabet stickers for the title. Because these letters are quite transparent, I love that the background print come through. Taking this further, I wrote my journalling over the top of the title. I had to use a black Sharpie to ensure that my journalling will dry over the shiny letters. Some old red letters date the photos and also tie in with the splash of reds echoed elsewhere in layout.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
That's all from me this month. I hope I have inspired you to create this half term. See you next month.Ifahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16747222238567068345noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1924741282635634327.post-27743512300518925582014-02-15T20:35:00.001+00:002014-02-15T20:35:12.902+00:00Cameras at the Ready!!If you're at all like me, it was your love of photography that led you to scrapbooking. As the craft revolves around photos and taking snaps, I often snap up any camera-themed embellishments and stickers as they are easy to work in to page, whatever your theme. It will be no surprise then, that when I spotted <a href="http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/brands/the-crafter-s-workshop/the-crafter-s-workshop-6x6-template-picture-perfect.html">this Crafter's Workshop 12x12 template</a>, I couldn't wait to get my mitts on it!
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi4X_duB2-JsekzB0psDTFc0j8u4d3-3v8RwUcMcd48OIxuXp9vDhfs2uMzCpe_GsPF_7VLuQVhVeVkh5c0yuSBc228Yc4rl-1aGqW6Gm64uFoJ-p7Zt-zsl7nbpwQ-zK31Db-6_P9ubLP8/s1600/cameras+template.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi4X_duB2-JsekzB0psDTFc0j8u4d3-3v8RwUcMcd48OIxuXp9vDhfs2uMzCpe_GsPF_7VLuQVhVeVkh5c0yuSBc228Yc4rl-1aGqW6Gm64uFoJ-p7Zt-zsl7nbpwQ-zK31Db-6_P9ubLP8/s1600/cameras+template.jpg" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I'd never really been drawn to the templates before as I'd always associated them with making backgrounds using messy pastes and mists and paints which, although always look fab, my backgrounds are usually patterned paper. However, when I saw this I knew I wanted to use it to make my own embellishments.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Here's how:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
First I'd chose which camera I wanted to use, and trace it onto my chosen patterned paper:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiGIcaI2qclU81cViWnWx9CoSXiWMPaN0rqaKOmuAOkPKb9kSEp_cxVS6KKftidvnfS7Bxb6DKtEcNS-Lf4Agvyi-aVmV2Ep4N2tXgd6D2Qk40f7AtJac6vh93wOz4xcVwVZPRt1QtxgHER/s1600/20140208_154941.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiGIcaI2qclU81cViWnWx9CoSXiWMPaN0rqaKOmuAOkPKb9kSEp_cxVS6KKftidvnfS7Bxb6DKtEcNS-Lf4Agvyi-aVmV2Ep4N2tXgd6D2Qk40f7AtJac6vh93wOz4xcVwVZPRt1QtxgHER/s1600/20140208_154941.jpg" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
I'd then begin to trace cut out the "detail" pieces of the camera from other patterns (great for using up scraps!)<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh-13AeguEszN4ybRtONIonkJ2qOLcmIQCPmV8REaDkh48aWS6hK4dPuwu_6j7fJ5jTulipImkgD882Mzyx8MAmfu-OAImXYL_jCSAppAih90xIHqrfApZ7jhhJFF5c-XzOeGQHDCjo5vXY/s1600/20140208_155723.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh-13AeguEszN4ybRtONIonkJ2qOLcmIQCPmV8REaDkh48aWS6hK4dPuwu_6j7fJ5jTulipImkgD882Mzyx8MAmfu-OAImXYL_jCSAppAih90xIHqrfApZ7jhhJFF5c-XzOeGQHDCjo5vXY/s1600/20140208_155723.jpg" height="213" width="320" /></a></div>
Once all layered up and stuck together, I'd add in pen details:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLfxsMyqi3QjHUG8i3B5oCjQeAwh-620FeTBSLpVNet_0vAZfaUxivx7znYqhBBccsV3sVthD-MbDBkFa9lrX4016BE9gx2qlyONOnke8u9QB75MHrW_anHeL85GPQIpD3gO9s2sc2J-uc/s1600/20140208_161721.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLfxsMyqi3QjHUG8i3B5oCjQeAwh-620FeTBSLpVNet_0vAZfaUxivx7znYqhBBccsV3sVthD-MbDBkFa9lrX4016BE9gx2qlyONOnke8u9QB75MHrW_anHeL85GPQIpD3gO9s2sc2J-uc/s1600/20140208_161721.jpg" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
And my finished patterned camera would be ready to go on my layout!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhft03vX461eEiMUrI37yYamlOcI1c5QTwErN-CmgmBl2NirUcAxzbyn_I_1Gvh5wUvbvk5KyE1XzWIsE3zVNfqqQwQ7dX2Her96GpcpOYNUeoSMUy04n7B9ES2PdfmmKSOoOyIiZuK2hv1/s1600/20140208_165345.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhft03vX461eEiMUrI37yYamlOcI1c5QTwErN-CmgmBl2NirUcAxzbyn_I_1Gvh5wUvbvk5KyE1XzWIsE3zVNfqqQwQ7dX2Her96GpcpOYNUeoSMUy04n7B9ES2PdfmmKSOoOyIiZuK2hv1/s1600/20140208_165345.jpg" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
They can look at bit strange and obscure during the piecing together stage,<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgSB3_o4DK87as59gY8_6yy5063R8w_yXLYc-94Z9abV4QvzZGsFX_CKdHCs82XFh2aIFoB0B7vWcxj5hrFse9fzB5G-2HCzfk4VoRXF1PWLUAIqj6kgXAeuFy5uvGRuK5qzrHL8GKUOhyphenhyphenP/s1600/20140213_164642.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgSB3_o4DK87as59gY8_6yy5063R8w_yXLYc-94Z9abV4QvzZGsFX_CKdHCs82XFh2aIFoB0B7vWcxj5hrFse9fzB5G-2HCzfk4VoRXF1PWLUAIqj6kgXAeuFy5uvGRuK5qzrHL8GKUOhyphenhyphenP/s1600/20140213_164642.jpg" height="310" width="320" /></a></div>
but adding the black doodled outlines really brings it together and makes it look like a camera:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhzfRL5ii1V8tYq1yohAaT5uqtH22sc25v1IXIIUIPO0IX5mNlNqgPKcHloVg3obaCRqM6jPnrw66XcXvPKsqjNrtn6gazZawPRa3Xerc1V7P4R89ejGoBPGEA7-8nXAvysSV2xptbWasXn/s1600/20140213_164848.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhzfRL5ii1V8tYq1yohAaT5uqtH22sc25v1IXIIUIPO0IX5mNlNqgPKcHloVg3obaCRqM6jPnrw66XcXvPKsqjNrtn6gazZawPRa3Xerc1V7P4R89ejGoBPGEA7-8nXAvysSV2xptbWasXn/s1600/20140213_164848.jpg" height="264" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Here's my first page, documenting about how we can look forward to family bike rides and make use of the beautiful cycle track just across the road from our home now that my step daughter has mastered riding her bike without stabilisers.</div>
<div style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiSXKXEaXbRCns_mw4eUgAEajvehtMSSBVYS28osoGY6lSzKDEP9El8aLbrDQZ4h3KZ009pHE5wwtnpHXdVSU__Pr_u3qwkTflxXLM8PJ32mg5az7KTu55AhhLYLTPI3hlwV8-1-w7HR7ky/s1600/High-Five.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiSXKXEaXbRCns_mw4eUgAEajvehtMSSBVYS28osoGY6lSzKDEP9El8aLbrDQZ4h3KZ009pHE5wwtnpHXdVSU__Pr_u3qwkTflxXLM8PJ32mg5az7KTu55AhhLYLTPI3hlwV8-1-w7HR7ky/s1600/High-Five.jpg" height="400" width="282" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
For my second page, as well as making camera embellishments, I also used the template to make my own journalling card. I began by selecting my patterned paper and tracing one of the camera tempaltes using a brown AC Slick Writer pen.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZIulQqf7mZTg2qcBMc4mk8LLpBKZo6fRp362_2hLaSRHcX0lu_ltNT3pVTkYngz_FSbrp0Oaz823yfkFIcKMPOOwcijWXfV_JQVc1YCAWUFfERlT2y6RpDEg2h84nlEMPt271O3Mu5K4-/s1600/20140213_175321.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZIulQqf7mZTg2qcBMc4mk8LLpBKZo6fRp362_2hLaSRHcX0lu_ltNT3pVTkYngz_FSbrp0Oaz823yfkFIcKMPOOwcijWXfV_JQVc1YCAWUFfERlT2y6RpDEg2h84nlEMPt271O3Mu5K4-/s1600/20140213_175321.jpg" height="247" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I popped it into place on my page, and then drew journalling lines across it with a black pen:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiLO4ujjSq79RD-I0XnXFSMwszDSCgrsPSQvVPDDDrykyi9PX9Wa6TdWvf2MnAl1LmC6z3OXnfrQ7is8UiyNMa_04Yj7EOTl3yiG9fTHVEa0lg-kdhK72lNuFjRgU5wulnB4N5wRWOuSW40/s1600/20140213_175227.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiLO4ujjSq79RD-I0XnXFSMwszDSCgrsPSQvVPDDDrykyi9PX9Wa6TdWvf2MnAl1LmC6z3OXnfrQ7is8UiyNMa_04Yj7EOTl3yiG9fTHVEa0lg-kdhK72lNuFjRgU5wulnB4N5wRWOuSW40/s1600/20140213_175227.jpg" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
Hey presto, one camera-shaped journalling card ready to go:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhMRMzyHKLn4nci10ce3jUMoG-SE-gdJ7Y1mTBQQ3OVmwaMK5d-cY1kvnMFAZpILlsGTO39bveR56I4g9xmmzGWAR_GM9Ej_JHU5kHb7UnrvFrH6vx0yB2TkiJptWncJ0fQVctEPcU4fWPm/s1600/20140213_175248.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhMRMzyHKLn4nci10ce3jUMoG-SE-gdJ7Y1mTBQQ3OVmwaMK5d-cY1kvnMFAZpILlsGTO39bveR56I4g9xmmzGWAR_GM9Ej_JHU5kHb7UnrvFrH6vx0yB2TkiJptWncJ0fQVctEPcU4fWPm/s1600/20140213_175248.jpg" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
Here's my completed page, Reason to Smile. It tells the story of lovely Sally Anne, who was my soft bunny toy as early as I can remember. She used to go everywhere with me, as this photo circa 1984 shows, and I once nearly screamed an aeroplane out of the sky when I discovered she was not coming to Spain with us - the only thing that calmed me was the reassurance that she had stayed behind to help my Dad and Grandpa move everything to our new house while we were away! She had been gone (but not forgotten!) for years, so I was over the moon to find her in pretty good rooting, tooting, cow-girl condition in a bag in my mums attic when she moved house last year. Sally Anne and Natalie Anne were reunited!! She now sits pretty in my craft room, although does get treated to the odd day out - last Summer I held a Teddy Bear's Picnic for my class; each child brought their favourite Teddy, and I took Sally Anne in to meet them all!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEipMCr7m_rpXqtvLOe0VlJzbjFK8gPTRmxRwjsZwXzcPLsqGd18ydBsNnjmXC4eI3WcoQ3xthsP40miYMrchobT0f0GrXxdF61kv2qWkhodeNcbvlHXsM4jZucssh0scJPSB3I2rUbdVr0y/s1600/Reason-to-smile.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEipMCr7m_rpXqtvLOe0VlJzbjFK8gPTRmxRwjsZwXzcPLsqGd18ydBsNnjmXC4eI3WcoQ3xthsP40miYMrchobT0f0GrXxdF61kv2qWkhodeNcbvlHXsM4jZucssh0scJPSB3I2rUbdVr0y/s1600/Reason-to-smile.jpg" height="400" width="288" /></a></div>
<br />
I also used the template to make a quick birthday card; this time I popped a bit of 3D foam in between each layer to add a bit of depth.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgN9fMOD6zFEPc6wDPIlDjxFcqM-iSWZ3iYlZFHODnMm2FEU-378hl5ptH-sJ96dGOcN3hwwXnAIMyrbRX500QYnzwl-nCSLbRR4w_5XI9JtCuLxVMlP01x-36xYzk2z8mpgULGiBzc9JNX/s1600/20140215_102550.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgN9fMOD6zFEPc6wDPIlDjxFcqM-iSWZ3iYlZFHODnMm2FEU-378hl5ptH-sJ96dGOcN3hwwXnAIMyrbRX500QYnzwl-nCSLbRR4w_5XI9JtCuLxVMlP01x-36xYzk2z8mpgULGiBzc9JNX/s1600/20140215_102550.jpg" height="241" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I also added a pearl and a crystal to this one to add a bit of detail:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh0MApIpvSWIM5AwUugUsQ3yjt9NHiBDaTAhxGoDh6WuTixuPCtaL0kXZlaPqgiUr9aiTqE_ai4NxBIo0tsuj6Tuvm9LGJnyxNoMfxZeLrEPRh7mwbnrx0V8Rzdl8qPBesmDPz3tI0U-6bT/s1600/card.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh0MApIpvSWIM5AwUugUsQ3yjt9NHiBDaTAhxGoDh6WuTixuPCtaL0kXZlaPqgiUr9aiTqE_ai4NxBIo0tsuj6Tuvm9LGJnyxNoMfxZeLrEPRh7mwbnrx0V8Rzdl8qPBesmDPz3tI0U-6bT/s1600/card.jpg" height="223" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
There are lots of lovely CHA arrivals in the shop at the moment - why not grab a template with some new papers to make your own embellishments to coordinate with your pages :)<br />
